OWENSBORO, KY — Daviess County Judge Executive Charlie Castlen is entering the final stretch of his re-election campaign with a sharpened public focus ahead of the November 3 general election, unveiling a refreshed campaign presence highlighting his record over the past four years.

Under Castlen’s leadership, Daviess County has landed the largest economic development years in its history, with $415 million in investment and 727 new jobs. The county has also lowered its property tax rate to its lowest point since 1975, including the largest one-year decrease since 1979, while maintaining a balanced budget with virtually no debt. Additional accomplishments include completion of the countywide broadband project and continued investment in public safety and infrastructure.

“This county has real momentum, and I want every resident to see exactly where that progress has come from and where we’re headed next,” said Castlen. “That’s four years. Let’s do four more.”

Castlen’s campaign will continue rolling out updates on infrastructure, public safety, and economic development priorities in the weeks ahead. More information is available on the campaign website and on Facebook.
